Bru Foundry is seeking a talented Assistant General Manager to join our new concept restaurant. As a Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our taproom and dining destination in Gainesville, Georgia. You will lead a team of passionate individuals, ensuring that our guests receive excellent food and impeccable service. If you have previous experience in a similar role, a passion for the restaurant industry, and a desire to be part of a dynamic and growing organization, we want to hear from you.

As a Floor Manager you lead and inspire your service team to deliver a great guest experience. With your positive attitude, you are a role model demonstrating leadership grounded in Bru Foundry’s values. You’ll set clear expectations, keep the lines of communication open and recognize and reward great performance. You will guide and manage staff with care to ensure the best customer experience, running a smooth operation.

The Bar and Beverage Manager is responsible for providing effective leadership to drive sales, hospitality at the highest level, profitability, and long-term growth by managing the bar. You will lead by example and boost staff morale through education and positive reinforcement. Ultimately, you will ensure the bar runs efficiently and staff is managed properly throughout the shift. You will monitor staff to ensure compliance and consistency of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages on our menu.

Bru Foundry is the flagship restaurant being brought to Gainesville Georgia by its parent partner Vantage Kitchen Concepts out of Atlanta. Bru Foundry is a taproom with a full-service show kitchen and robust taproom friendly menu. We are seeking a talented chef and kitchen manager to uphold and support the Bru Foundry brand and concept. Food quality and consistency is paramount. This is a working position whose primary focus is making sure that the kitchen menu items are held up to the standard set by our corporate chef's and development team. We need a strong leader to manage the structures and systems put in place to maintain the quality and product integrity, while ensuring smooth and timely execution from kitchen to dining room. This candidate needs to embody the Bru Foundry ethics and culture that we are creating. Job Summary
As the line cook, you are responsible for managing the cook station through proper station
setup procedures, as well as receiving and communicating guest orders, preparing, and plating menu items to meet our quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation.

  • Clearly communicate orders/needs to station cooks (fry, salad, prep, etc.).

  • Prepare and verify that all menu items are prepared according to our company quality
    standards 100% of the time.

  • Communicate with the expediter/server when orders are ready for delivery within 1 minute of plating a dish.

  • Follow the receiving and storage standard procedures.

  • Complete meals to all persons at each table in the assigned section following speed of
    service standards.

  • Perform assigned side-work duties satisfactorily.

  • Follow all end-of-shift checkout procedures as outlined by the company.

  • Maintain a good team environment by assisting other team members with their station duties and side-work when there is a need and/or when available.

  • Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, products, and other items weighing up to 50  pounds frequently.

  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift.

  • Must exhibit hand coordination and dexterity for rapid productions.

We are looking for skilled Prep Cooks to prepare delicious meals at Bru Foundry Taproom and Kitchen! They will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery. An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important.

Job Summary

As a Host, you will greet guests as they enter the restaurant in a courteous, friendly, and helpful manner. Take reservations or put guests on wait lists. Provide menus and shows guests to their seats. May take phone orders and assist with bussing and resetting tables. Bid Guests farewell, ensuring we exceeded their expectations.

  • Upon seating, offers guests menus and inform them of their server names. 

  • Bid guests farewell upon departing, ensuring their satisfaction and inviting them to return.

  • Legibly complete guest checks and accurately enter orders into POS system.

  • Pick up orders and complete plate preparation correctly as specified by company presentation standards.

  • Serve complete meals to all guests at each table in the assigned section within company service standards.

Job Summary

Responsible for the setup, maintenance, and operation of the bar. Take drink orders from patrons or servers and prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes. Mix ingredients for cocktails and serve wine and bottled or draught beer. Ring drink orders into the register, collect payments, and make change. May also wash and sterilize glassware, prepare garnishes for drinks, as well as take food orders for patrons at the bar and for take-out.

Bru Foundry Taproom and Kitchen restaurant looking for experienced Barbacks to join our amazing team! Are you a star Barback? The Barback position is an extension of the bartender. They are in place to assist the bar staff in delivering Bru Foundry Brand Service. The Barback helps the bartenders in maintaining the cleanliness of the bar and keeping inventory levels appropriate for the volume of business.

Job Summary

This job is responsible for setting, clearing, and resetting dining areas of the restaurant. The bus person ensures guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for guests to dine. He or she also assists servers in efficiently servicing their tables.

 

Job Standards

  • Follow all policies and procedures as outlined by the company.
