Barback

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that glassware, stirrers, shakers, strainers and other bartending tools are clean and in the proper position for bartenders.

• Maintaining cleanliness and condition of work areas, bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools, following all set-up guidelines

• Keep the bar fully stocked at all times.

• Put away the liquor/beer deliveries that come in during the day.

• Assist the bartender with anything that they may need.

• Clean drink spills and sweep broken glassware immediately.

• Clean counters during & after shift.

• Take out trash and recycling throughout the shift.

• Perform all opening and closing tasks listed in SOP's.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age

• 1 year of experience in a full service restaurant

• Proactive at identifying and completing work needs

• Ability to assess station needs and act accordingly

• Great spoken and written communication
