Job Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and maintain the Bru Foundry brand and concept and systems

  • Adhere to budgets, food and labor costs, and waste management

  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities

  • Oversee kitchen staff and coordinate their daily tasks

  • Train and mentor new kitchen employees

  •  Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

  •  Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen

  • Serve Safe certification

  •  Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines

  •  Strong leadership skills and ability to work well in a team

  •  Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure

  •  Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation

  •  Ability to adapt to changing menus and prioritize tasks accordingly

  • Strong organizational and management skills
