Kitchen Manager
Job Responsibilities:

Food quality, consistency, and timely delivery

Uphold Bru Foundry’s policies and procedures
-
Adhere to budgets, food and labor costs, and waste management
-
Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities with production chef
-
Oversee and manage daily kitchen operations, staff and delegates task
-
Schedule staff shifts
-
Hire, train, and mentor new kitchen employees
-
Set performance goals and provide consistent feedback
-
Ensure compliance of food safety and sanitation policies
-
Inventory management, purchasing and receiving of supplies
-
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements:
-
3 years’ experience as a kitchen manager and cooking in a professional kitchen
-
Expediting skills
-
ServSafe certification
-
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
-
Strong leadership skills and ability to work well in a team
-
Excellent time management skills and ability to perform under pressure
-
Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
-
Strong organizational, managerial and communication skills
-
Ability to adapt to changing menus and prioritize tasks accordingly
-
Bilingual in English and Spanish
