Chef de Cuisine/
Kitchen Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Food quality, consistency, and timely delivery

  • Uphold Bru Foundry’s policies and procedures

  • Adhere to budgets, food and labor costs, and waste management

  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities with production chef

  • Oversee and manage daily kitchen operations, staff and delegates task

  • Schedule staff shifts

  • Hire, train, and mentor new kitchen employees

  • Set performance goals and provide consistent feedback

  • Ensure compliance of food safety and sanitation policies

  • Inventory management, purchasing and receiving of supplies

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements:

  • 3 years’ experience as a kitchen manager and cooking in a professional kitchen

  • Expediting skills

  • ServSafe certification

  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work well in a team

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to perform under pressure

  • Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation

  • Strong organizational, managerial and communication skills

  • Ability to adapt to changing menus and prioritize tasks accordingly

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
