Assistant
General Manager
The Assistant General Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead and direct the work of the management team including scheduling, assigning responsibilities and setting expectations

Oversee performance of the management team, including performance evaluations, coaching and accountability
-
Practice and implement weekly, monthly and yearly financial budgets to ensure a smooth, efficient, and economical operation for labor, food, beverages, and supplies

Foster open communication between team members and management team
-
Communicate and embody Bru Foundry’s culture and values
-
Encourage staff to create unique, personalized WOW moments at every opportunity
-
Oversee and ensure all Bru Foundry's policies and procedures are maintained
-
Uphold company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements, to ensure the health and safety of our guests and team members
-
Inspect and tour all zones several times daily, ensuring that they are clean and inviting
-
Complete regular performance reviews for management and provide consistent feedback
-
Coordinate daily front and back of house restaurant operations
-
Perform all opening and closing tasks listed in SOP's
-
Enforce and maintain all labor laws

Required Skills:
-
5+ years of comprehensive restaurant experience
-
The candidate should be highly confident in their abilities and be detail-oriented
-
Proven team player and have excellent communication skills
-
Effective Personnel Management
-
Genuine passion for hospitality with a customer-focused mentality
-
Execution of positive guest experiences to promote guest retention
-
Knowledge of Toast POS System and back-office systems
-
Experience with Human Resource functions (hiring, team member onboarding, etc.)
