Dishwasher

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all aspects of the dish area and dish machine

  • Use proper pre-soaking procedures, cleaning and following proper chemical usage

  • Use checklists to ensure proper set-up and close down of each shift

  • Maintain positive interaction between service staff and other team members

  • Scrapes and rinses food from used dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine

  • Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures.

  • Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.

  • Keeps the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.

  • Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

  • Washes and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.

  • Removes trash and places it in designated containers and steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.

  • Helps load and unload supplies and products.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Excellent customer service skills and etiquette

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with team members

  • Ability to work around various levels of temperature, including warm to very warm temperatures in the kitchen.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team work environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to climb, lift, reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift at least 40 pounds

  • Be able to walk and stand for the entirety of a scheduled shift

  • Be able to continuously reach, bend, lift, and carry

  • Be able to remain stationary for parts of a scheduled shift

  • Uses repetitive motions

  • Can work in both hot and cold temperatures
