Bartender

Responsibilities:

  • Solid knowledge of beer, wine, and familiarization with cocktail recipes

  • Receives drink orders from patrons or servers, mixes and serves alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes and using company standardized proportions; serves wine and bottled beer or draws draught beer.

  • Serves alcohol beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures

  • Completes sales and inventory reports accurately

  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of work areas, bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools, following all set-up guidelines

  • Monitor and control alcohol consumption of our guests to ensure guest safety

  • Ability to maintain a professional and courteous during busy times

  • Perform all opening and closing tasks listed in SOP's.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-volume bartending strongly preferred

  • Must be able to pivot and multitask during peak hours of operation

  • Extensive knowledge of classic cocktails and modern cocktails

  • Basic knowledge of beer and wine

  • Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail

  • Responsibly serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to patrons

  • TIPS Certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire

  • ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Ability to climb, lift, reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift at least 40 pounds

  • Be able to walk and stand for the entirety of a scheduled shift

  • Be able to continuously reach, bend, lift, and carry

  • Be able to remain stationary for parts of a scheduled shift

  • Must be of legal age to serve liquor per state law

  • Uses repetitive motions

  • Can work in both hot and cold temperatures
