Bar & Beverage
Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of beverages and ensure quality of product served

  • Perform daily opening, mid-day, and closing procedures

  • Uphold food safety and sanitation policies and procedures

  • Conduct technology checks

  • Back-office management

  • Review sales and beverage costs

  • Ensure proper cash management

  • Responsible for labor control and scheduling of the bar

  • Daily staff meetings and communication

  • Inventory management

  • Creation of all menus needed for Bru Foundry’s bar and beverage program

  • Marketing and promotions

  • Bar and beverage training programs

  • Assist in coordinating daily front of the house restaurant operations

  • Follow up with customers to ensure guest satisfaction and take action to correct any
    issues

  • Assess performance and provide feedback to improve productivity

  • Interact with guests to develop loyalty and exercise great customer relations

Requirements:

  • 5+ years proven work experience as a bar and beverage manager, assistant manager,
    hospitality manager or similar role

  • Knowledge of local and state regulations related to alcohol service and health code
    compliance

  • Extensive working knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
    Extensive food and beverage knowledge

  • Financial management skills

  • Exceptional communication and problem solving skills

  • Experience working in high volume establishments
